Company History
Mr. George Simon founded Made-To-Fit Garment Inc. in 1942. Since the start, the company has been specializing in the manufacturing of children’s clothing from sizes 6 months to 16 years. In 1962 and 1963 respectively, the two sons of George Simon, Ronald and Kenneth joined the family enterprise.
In 1966, Mr. George Simon passed away and the leadership of the company was left to his two sons, Ronald and Kenneth. In 1982, the Simon brothers recognized the need for coordinate “tops” to match the “bottoms” and began to establish Krickets as a North American brand representing value at a great price.
Although today all product lines are sourced in the Far East, this remains a Canadian line, created with a French Quebecois flair.
Most recently, the third generation of the Simon family, sons of Kenneth, Tom and Derek Simon have come into the company to carry it into the 21st century after its glorious 65 year history.
All Krickets sales have been backed by a socially conscious marketing strategy encouraging education and responsibility amongst children. A strategy embraced the world over, as the brand is distributed in eighteen countries all over the world.
